The lecture entitled “Facing the Challenges of Aircraft Icing” took place online on the 20th of October 2022.
SENS4ICE was represented by Christoph Deiler from German Aerospace Center (DLR) who introduced the phenomenon of aircraft icing, highlighted the peculiarities related to SLD in aviation and discussed the changes of aircraft characteristics, flight dynamics and handling qualities.
