The Belgian "Fighting Icing" project invited the SENS4ICE coordinator Carsten Schwarz (German Aerospace Center, DLR) to present SENS4ICE at the "Workshop and Networking event - Icing mitigation and monitoring solutions" that took place in Heverlee/Leuven, Belgium / hybrid on the 21st of September 2022.

The audience was representing a wide range of applications including aviation but mainly non-aviation applications like wind energy. As SENS4ICE is developing several different ice detection sensor technologies and also a hybrid approach including indirect ice detection, it is of interest to possibly transfer some of the technologies to other applications than aviation.
