At the 33rd Congress of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (4 - 9 September 2022, Stockholm, Sweden) the SENS4ICE project was part of a dedicated session on icing.

The SENS4ICE coordinator Carsten Schwarz (German Aerospace Center, DLR) presented "The SENS4ICE EU project - SENSors and certifiable hybrid architectures for safer aviation in ICing Environment - Project overview and initial results". Particularly recent results from the icing wind tunnel testing and technology evaluation were highlighted, with an outlook on the upcoming flight testing. The icing session was well attended and the presentation was well perceived by international icing experts.
