The SENS4ICE partners gathered on 4-5 June 2019 in Toulouse at ATR headquarters to participate in the project progress meeting. Some members of the SENS4ICE Advisory Board attended the first day of the meeting.

The aim of the meeting was to report on the progress made in the first six months of the project and discuss the future challenges such as development of sensors, Icing Wind Tunnel tests and flight tests. What’s more, the project partners ATR and SAFIRE organised a visit of the SAFIRE flying laboratories located at the Airport Toulouse Francazal in Cugnaux. The visit was an opportunity for the SENS4ICE partners to board the ATR-42 which will be used in SENS4ICE as one of the three flight test platforms.
