Recent icing detection flight test results including technology evaluation will be presented at the upcoming German Aerospace Conference on 19-21 September 2023 in Stuttgart.

The preliminary conference program is already available and registration for participants is open, both via the conference website.

A full session with four presentations will be dedicated to the SENS4ICE project on 20 September 2023:

• "SENS4ICE EU Project Icing Detection Technologies Evaluation" (C. Schwarz, DLR),
• "Testing of an Indirect Ice Detection Methodology in the Horizon 2020 Project SENS4ICE" (C. Deiler, DLR),
• "Wind tunnel and flight testing of a lamb wave based ice accretion sensor" (M. Pohl, DLR),
• "Meteorological conditions and microphysical properties that lead to aircraft icing as observed during the SENS4ICE campaigns" (J. Lucke, DLR).
